We are aware, especially in the current climate, that some people may struggle financially. We offer some additional help for those people who claim certain benefits or who meet particular criteria.

Income Support
income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
Universal Credit, and your household income is £15,400 a year or less after tax, not including benefit payments
the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit (or both), and your household income is £16,190 a year or less before tax
the Working Tax Credit 4-week run on (the payment you get when you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)

Universal Credit - your household income must be less than £7,400 a year after tax not including any benefits you get

has an education, health and care (EHC) plan
has left care under an adoption order, special guardianship order or a child arrangements order
We can offer you extra help in the form of:
Reduced Placement Fee of £50 (of which £25 is returned when your child starts with us).
Reduced Enrolment Fee of £35, you will receive a FREE preschool polo shirt for your child.
You will receive a FREE set of waterproofs for your child
You may be eligible for the Household Grant from Central Bedfordshire Council - you will receive supermarket vouchers each holiday.
We can sometimes offer payment plans and we are happy to discuss other ways to help with fees.
A funding code or letter must be shown or the appropriate benefit claim evidenced e.g. a copy of your DLA letter.
