“I have been teaching for over 20 years and specialised in Early Years for much of this. I have lived in Clophill since 2012 and my daughter was the first child to attend Clophill Preschool! We set the preschool up in 2013 to provide high quality Early Years learning through a curriculum based in nature and the local environment. I am constantly amazed by what our little preschool has achieved, with parents from far and wide seeking us out for their children.”

I have been involved in early years for many years now and I am passionate about helping children to learn through nature in our amazing outdoor setting. I am L2 in Outdoor Learning and enjoy finding new nature based courses to increase my knowledge. I also love to teach the children new skills like using tools on adventure Fridays. I have 4 children of my own who keep me busy when I am not at work!

As a mother to 4 children, 2 of which have complex special needs I have a passion for helping other children with SEND and their families. I have a vast experience of supporting children with ASD/ADHD and speech & language intervention and am trained in Makaton Level 2. I joined Clophill Preschool nearly 5 years ago and am now deputy SENDCO, an achievement I am very proud of. I have a passion for inclusivity and to teach all our children to understand and embrace the differences between us.
