Reporting a safeguarding concern
For safeguarding during preschool opening times:
Concerns can be reported to preschool in the following ways:
By phone on 07765 887868 and ask to speak to a member of the safeguarding team
Face to face, just ask to speak with a member of the team
In writing, address any concerns to the safeguarding team either by letter or via email to clophillpreschool@gmail.com
If you have a concern to report out of preschool hours we unfortunately guarantee that we will be available all hours or that our response will be in a timely manner. Please, therefore, see the below other options to report a concern. We would ask that you contact us, either by phone, email or in person during hours if you have reported a concern elsewhere.
For safeguarding concerns out of preschool opening hours:
If you feel a child is in immediate danger then call the Police emergency number 999.
If you have a hearing or speech impairment, use their textphone service 18000 or text on 999 if you’ve pre-registered with the emergency SMS service.
Outside of school hours concerns can be made to the local authority in which the child lives.
If you don’t consider the child to be in immediate danger, call the non-emergency, 24/7 number: 101. If you have a hearing or speech impairment, use their textphone service on 18001 101
You can also visit a police station to speak to an officer in person.
